<b><font size="2">Lowell Milken Center Fellowship</font></b><p> <b><a href="/fellows.taf?page=2008milkenfellow">2008 Milken Fellow</a></b><br> <p> The Lowell Milken Center (LMC) Fellowship will be awarded each year on the basis of merit to those educators who have distinguished themselves in teaching understanding and respect through project-based learning.<p> The Fellowship is a four-week tenure, during which the Fellow will learn at the Center and assist in Center goals. A $2,500 stipend will be provided for the four weeks, plus a $2,000 living allowance. University credit will be available for the LMC Fellow. The application and selection process will take place in the early spring, and Fellows will arrange the tenure time with the Center's executive director.<p> Candidates must demonstrate the relevance of education to their long-term career goals and potential in enhancing their contributions to society. A $1,600 stipend will be provided, as well as a $2,000 living allowance, if the distance to the Center makes this necessary. University credit will be available for the LMC Intern.
