The Lowell Milken Center (LMC) Fellowship will be awarded each year on the basis of merit to those educators who have distinguished themselves in teaching understanding and respect through project-based learning.

The Fellowship is an exciting tenure, during which the Fellow will learn at the Center, through virtual activity, develop and complete outcomes at their school, and will assist in Center goals. A stipend will be provided for the tenure, plus a living allowance. University credit is possible with advancement arrangements with the LMC Fellow. The selection process will take place in the early spring, and Fellows will arrange the tenure time with the Center's executive director.

Fellows must demonstrate the relevance of education to their long-term career goals and potential in enhancing their contributions to society. Fellowships are not awarded solely on the basis of academic or achievement record.

The Lowell Milken Center (LMC) Internship is designed to provide graduate students and early career educators with an opportunity to learn firsthand how projects concerning unsung heroes in history can make a difference in the world.

The Internship is an exciting tenure, during which the Intern will learn at the Center, through virtual activity, develop and complete outcomes at their school, and will assist in Center goals. A stipend will be provided, as well as a living allowance, if the distance to the Center makes this necessary. University credit will be available for the LMC Intern. The selection process will take place in the early spring, and Intern(s) will be expected to begin tenure no later than August 15.
